Información
Licenciado en Medicina por la Universidad de Valencia, donde fue becario del Colegio Mayor San Juan de Ribera de Burjasot. Doctorado en la Universidad de Bolonia (Italia), como becario del Real Colegio de España. Becario postdoctoral del British Council-Ministerio de Educación, en el Imperial Cancer Research Foundation (Cancer Research UK) de Londres. Desde entonces, lidera un grupo de investigación que trabaja sobre implicación de las hormonas en varios campos de la clínica, tales como la osteoporosis, la mama o el aparato cardiovascular.
Es autor de varios libros internacionales y de más de 250 publicaciones en revistas internacionales de alto impacto. Es miembro del Board de la International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE) y editor asociado de las revistas Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation, de Hypertension in Pregnancy, y de Gynecological and Reproductive Endocrinology & Metabolism (GREM), así como editor de Ginecología de la revista European Journal of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology y senior editorial advisor de la revista Maturitas. Past President de la European Menopause and Andropause Society. Dirige el Master de Reproducción Humana de la Universidad de Valencia. Es conferenciante regular en congresos nacionales e internacionales, con más de 400 conferencias referenciadas.
